Audience Feedback - Results

I have found from the research I have conducted on social sites MSN and Facebook that overall our target audience think that our film is very good and that it matches its set genre. There however a few changes that need to be made, these I will look at in another post.
Here I am going to look at audience and if our film appeals to our target audience effectively.

One of the questions I asked was, 'What age rating do you think our film would be?'
As you can see from the pie-chart, 33% of the people asked correctly though our film was a 12, unfortunately 45% thought that it was a 15, therefore we are going to have to try and make our film seem more like a 12, maybe by cutting any inappropriate language or shots.

Another question I asked was 'What genre do you think our piece is?', above you can see the graph of answers. Most people thought it was a mystery not a thriller- however this is not too worrying as sometimes mystery and thriller films are very similar.

Finally I ask 'Do you feel that the story of the film is easy to follow', gladly only 1 person answered no. This is encouraging as we were worried that the storyline was a little bit too complicated, I'm glad that the audience followed it easily.

Overall I feel that we have attracted our target audience effectively, with a few tweaks and changes I believe that our film would be extremely successful at attracting our audience.
