Film Title: Shadow
Duration: 5 minutes
Audience: 15 – 30. Although the film is not targeted at a niche audience, the film may be targeted more towards females than males, as the film presents dominant female characters. However, it could also attract male attention, as it consists of mystery, and detective work.
Resume: The film features a young girl washed up in a nearby river, with rope marks around her neck, and rists, as if she has been tied up and tortured, and her skin is blue, and cold. But she is still breathing and alive. A local runner finds her on one of his morning runs, and admits her immediately to a hospital, where she seemingly has amnesia, and is unable to remember who did this to her, and why.
As the story unfolds, the girls memory improves, as her story hits the local newspapers, and her friends are able to recognise her, and help her retrieve some of her memory loss.
The police, still eager to find the person who did this to her continue their national search, but when one of the police officers guarding the girl in hospital disappears for a break, a hooded man sneaks into the hospital room, and attempts to strangle, the already badly damaged girl, but fails to do so as the officer returns, and the man is quick to escape.
When she is deemed fit enough to return home, after being questioned multiple times by the police, she gets an unexpected knock at the door, and before she is able to close the door on the man dressed in black, he swoops her into his van, and attempts to kill her for the very last time. Through her struggles, and screams, she is able to let a nearby neighbour hear her cries, and immediately call the police. The hunt begins for the mystery man, but will they be quick enough to catch him in time, before the girl’s life is deemed over.

4. Title sequence – black, white and navy blue stern font.
5. Thriller Music – during the opening scene – builds climax.
6. Credits
